As an infant, Taurai was abandoned by both his parents, but he never let his background hold him back. From climbing the corporate ladder as a banker – practicing change management in Africa – to then building and climbing his own ladder as an Entrepreneur, Taurai was always driven to better his life and that of the communities he set to influence. He distributed diapers in the high-density areas, had 45 cars on the road in a car rental business, and produced 3 000 chickens monthly in another venture that almost got him and his wife bankrupt. 

Real success came when he ventured into property investing, one of his long-time passions. Not only did he build one of the most successful businesses, M5PropertyAddicts which he co-owns, but he also managed to do this in record time, going from debt to property mogul in just 2 years.

With his business, they now provide housing to around 200 families and 350 students across 5 cities in South Africa: Johannesburg, Tshwane, Durban, Potchefstroom, and Cape Town. Taurai has positioned himself and his business as leaders in the field and, as a result of his hard work, he has been recognized as one of the most successful and influential Entrepreneurs, by winning the Investor of the Year Award in 2019 – The Big Leagues.
