Taurai was almost retrenched. This time he was ready because he opted to leave the company whilst +300 people got retrenched from the bank. He was prepared.

Was on the cusp of moving into business almost full time. Through side hustles, Taurai lost just below R10 million. Once assets and liabilities were set off, my wife and I lost in a total of R 5million. This was a huge setback

Taurai met his biological father for the first time to have a one on one discussion on fatherhood

My princess was born and we celebrated, however on day 4 she had to go through major surgery. We celebrated once again on day 37 when our miracle girl came home. Makes me smile!

I started questioning myself why I was working away from home [in Africa] for long periods of time?

Taurai was retrenched again and this was a difficult moment because Tawana, his son, was born in 2008.

My son Tawana was born and my world changed. Life had a different meaning and have always wanted to give everything I never had – a father.
